Gentle, nervous system-centred care for the whole family — from newborns to grandparents.
Unit 6, 6 Westgate Street · London Fields · Hackney
At Culture Chiropractic in Hackney, we care for the whole family — from newborns experiencing their first days outside the womb, to children growing and developing, to teenagers navigating the physical demands of school and sport. Every assessment is adapted to the age and size of the person in front of us, and we will always tell you honestly if we do not think we can help.
Dr Nadia grew up in a chiropractic family — both of her parents are chiropractors. She has had chiropractic care herself since birth. That upbringing shaped not just her career, but her entire philosophy: that the body, given the right conditions, knows how to heal and thrive.
This is not an abstract belief for Nadia — it is lived experience. When she works with children and families, she brings that personal understanding alongside her clinical training. She knows what it feels like to grow up with a well-supported nervous system, and she wants that for every child she sees.
“I grew up with this care. I know what it feels like from the inside, and that shapes how I work with every family who comes in.”
Dr Nadia Rayasat — Chiropractor & Co-founderBirth is one of the most significant physical events in a human life — for both mother and baby. Parents often come to us after an assisted or long delivery, or simply for a check in the early weeks. The techniques used are incredibly gentle — nothing more than the lightest touch. If you are also looking for support for yourself after birth, see our pregnancy and postnatal page.
Learning to hold up their head, sit, crawl and walk — your baby changes enormously in the first two years. Care at this stage is extremely gentle, and always adapted to exactly where they are.
Falls, heavy school bags, increasing screen time and sport all create physical demands on a growing spine. Many of the postural patterns we see in adults began in childhood. We assess how your child is moving and holding themselves, and explain plainly what we find and whether we think care would help.
Rapid growth spurts, increased screen use, sport and the physical and emotional demands of adolescence all affect the spine and nervous system. Care at this age focuses on how they are moving and carrying themselves through a period of rapid change.
Paediatric chiropractic uses low-force, gentle techniques that are nothing like adult adjustments. No cracking, no forceful movement. For newborns the pressure used is comparable to resting a finger on the skin.
We look at how your child is moving and holding themselves as a whole, rather than at one area in isolation. Everything is adapted for their age, size and stage.
Many families come to us together. We can see multiple family members in a single visit, making it genuinely practical for busy parents. Every member of your family receives the same warmth, precision and intention.
If we cannot help your child, we will tell you and point you toward the right person. We never recommend care that is not needed. Your child’s wellbeing — not our schedule — guides every recommendation we make.
Designed to feel calm, unhurried and nothing like a typical clinic appointment.
You and your child will be greeted by Dr Corey or Dr Nadia in a calm, relaxed space. We start with a conversation about your child — their history, your concerns and what you are hoping to achieve.
A thorough but gentle examination of your child’s spine, posture and nervous system function — adapted fully for their age and size. We explain everything we find in plain language.
If appropriate, gentle care begins the same day. You will leave with a clear honest plan and a real understanding of what we found and how we can help. If we cannot help, we will tell you.

Yes. Paediatric chiropractic uses extremely gentle, low-force techniques that are nothing like adult adjustments. There is no cracking, no forceful manipulation. The pressure used for a newborn is comparable to the weight of a finger resting on the skin. Dr Corey and Dr Nadia are fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council and have training in paediatric care.
Many parents bring their babies in shortly after birth, particularly following difficult deliveries, ventouse or forceps use, or caesarean sections. Others come because they have noticed their baby consistently turns their head to one side, or simply want a check. There is no fixed age — if you have a concern, we are happy to assess your baby and let you know honestly whether chiropractic can help.
We see children from birth through to teenagers and beyond. The approach is adapted fully for each age — newborn assessments are extremely gentle, while care for older children and teenagers is progressively adjusted for their size and developmental stage.
